Novozymes awarded $18M in patent dispute with Dupont's Danisco unit

In Denmark, Novozymes has been awarded $18.3 million by a jury for Dupont’s Danisco unit based on their finding that Danisco did infringe on a Novozyme biofuel production patent.  The patent infringement suit was based on Novozyme’s claim that Danisco was using Novozyme’s alpha amylase enzyme technology.
