Grown Energy Zambeze to invest $320M in Mozambique sugarcane ethanol

In Mozambique, Grown Energy Zambeze announced a $320 million investment in sugarcane ethanol, with a 59,000 acre (24,000 hectare) project in the province of Sofala province. The project, which will commence operation in 2013, will produce 6,600 gallons of ethanol per day at project commencement, and will quadruple by 2016.
