Neste Oil adds jatropha, camelina to feedstock mix

In Finland, Neste Oil is adding jatropha and camelina oils to its line up of feedstocks for its NExBTL biofuel which will help it to lower its reliance on food-based crop.  By the end of the year, the company expects palm oil to account for less than 50% of its overall feedstock demand.

"Fuel the Force" biodiesel program debuts in North Carolina

In North Carolina, 800 gallons of biodiesel has been delivered to Camp Lejeune as the first batch of fuel to be supplied under the “Fuel the Force” program that is promoting local biofuel production for military use. The biodiesel was produced from canola grown by nearby farmers and then processed at North Carolina State University.
