Public comment period opens for Minnesota ethanol expansion

In Minnesota, the state’s Pollution Control Agency’s Environmental Assessment Worksheet on the proposed expansion of the Granite Falls Energy ethanol facility at Granite Falls is available for public comment until Jan. 26. China shipping ethanol cars to Brazil

In Brazil, China’s Jianghuai Automobile Co. has shipped 500 of its ethanol cars as part of the agreement signed in August with Brazilian dealer SHC to export 620,000 units to Brazil over the next ten years. Another 1,500 cars are expected in January and 2,500 cars in February. More on the story.
