Digest Bioeconomy Index slips 0.45 percent to 53.14 as chemicals decline

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, slipped 0.45 percent to 53.14 as chemicals declined. For the day, Evogene (EVGN) dumped 6.96 percent to $6.55, while Metabolix (MBLX) lost 6.43 percent to $1.96.  Among other equities, Gevo (GEVO) rebounded 5.56 percent to $1.52.
