In Illinois, DTN reports the 7th District federal appeals court has overturned the lower court’s decision to throw out Green Plains’ lawsuit against Archer Daniels Midland for allegedly price fixing ethanol. The appeals court said the lower court had misread a law in its strictest terms, rather than a more open way that may be more appropriate. With the case going back to the lower courts, Green Plains now has the chance to redo some of the documents supporting its case.
