The “Eat a Swede” campaign certainly caught our eye, but thankfully it is a satirical piece to promote alternative earth-friendly proteins, not an actual promotion for creating or eating cultivated human meat. A more socially acceptable innovation this week is Carlsberg’s biobased beer bottles and Canadian researchers working on converting beer waste to nanotech to synthetize carbon quantum dots.
