In Mexico, Reuters reports low-cost airline Volaris plans to start sourcing Sustainable Aviation Fuel, first from the US for US-Mexico flights, but also supporting development of the domestic supply chain in Mexico. Last week, together with its rival VivaAerobus and others in the sector announced they were looking for proposals to develop SAF locally. Volaris is looking to extend its US routes to 145 along with 300 domestic routes while it is planning to add another 100 routes in the medium term.
