India launches E20 at the pump two months early

In India, the Press Trust of India reports the Prime Minister has officially rolled out the 20% ethanol blend during the India Energy Week opening ceremonies. Two months ahead of schedule, selected pumps in 15 cities 11 states and union territories are now selling E20 while the fuel will be rolled out throughout the rest of the country over the next two years. About 4.4 billion liters of ethanol were blended in the year to November 30, 2022 while 5.4 billion liters are expected to be contracted for blending this year.
