Honeywell sees SAF opportunities in Latin America

In Washington D.C., AeroXplorer reported that Honeywell’s Performance Materials and Technologies (PMT) division is currently in talks with several Latin American countries about launching 12 projects in the SAF field. Honeywell PMT’s regional president Jose Fernandes, said: “Latin America right now is really a hot spot for Honeywell”. According to the report, one of the projects is a joint venture with Brazilian biofuel producer ECB Group on a SAF plant in Paraguay. The plant, which will cost between $800 million and $1 billion, is expected to be fully completes in 2025, the report adds.
