Carbon Capture Scotland teams with Iona Capital to capture CO2 at UK biomethane plants

In the UK, Carbon Capture Scotland (CCS) and Iona Capital have announced a new agreement to capture and reuse green carbon dioxide (CO2) from Iona’s biomethane plants across the UK. This partnership aims to create dry ice for use in various industries, including food, cold logistics, and pharmaceuticals. The agreement builds upon their existing collaboration at Iona’s Crofthead anaerobic digestion and biogas plant in Dumfries, which is the first biomethane facility in Scotland to operate with carbon capture.
