In Russia, Interfax reports Lukoil is working on developing sustainable aviation fuel from algae feedstock together with a partner at the oil major’s Bulgarian refinery. It is also in the experimental stage on a pyrolysis oil project while in Finland it has begun retailing its Teboil Green+ from waste feedstock last year in three cities that the company says has 90% lower greenhouse gas emissions than fossil fuel. Previously, the fuel was only available to commercial customers.
