A recent DOE project analyzed promising bolt-on compatible CO₂ reduction pathways to fuels or products from standalone biorefineries; Published a comprehensive strategic plan for achieving industrial decarbonization goals via CO₂ conversion, with inclusion of outyear technical, cost, and carbon intensity targets, andis performing integrated TEA/LCA Analysis of CO₂ conversion . NREL’s Gary Grim of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory presented these slides at the DOE Project Peer review meetings in Washington DC.
