Navigator pauses pipeline project while Summit trucks on through

In Minnesota, the Star Tribune newspaper reports that Navigator CO2 Ventures has put its pipeline project on pause across all states while Summit Carbon Solutions is moving forward with its plans despite setbacks along parts of its planned carbon dioxide pipeline route. Navigator has withdrawn its application in Illinois in addition to pausing the permitting process in the other four states where it planned to implement its pipeline. Summit’s permits have been rejected by both North and South Dakota in recent months while the process in Iowa will continue in November.
