Green Biofuels Ltd. goes into administration

In the UK, Green Biofuels Ltd. (UK) entered Administration on October 2 and Lucy Winterborne, Kristopher Stewart Aspin and Alan Michael Hudson of Ernst & Young LLP were appointed as Joint Administrators. The appointment was made by the Qualifying Floating Charge Holder under the provisions of Paragraph 14 of Schedule B1 to the Insolvency Act 1986.

The company continues to trade to allow a purchaser to be found for its business and assets. The company’s existing staff will be working closely with a member of the Administrator’s team in relation to the continued provision of goods and services during this time.

The Irish subsidiary Green Biofuels is a separate entity and will continue to trade as a going concern, and is not affected by this annoucnement.
