In China, Xinde Marine News reported that Shanghai International Port Co., Ltd. (SIPG) and Evergreen Marine Corp. signed a Memorandum of Understanding on green methanol fuel supply to ships in the Port of Shanghai.
According to the agreement, SIPG will provide green methanol procurement, supply and refueling services for Evergreen’s dual-fuel methanol ships which will be delivered from 2026 to 2027, jointly promoting the realization of carbon reduction goals and building a low-carbon energy hub port in the Asia-Pacific region.
