In the UK, Plymouth Live reported that a Plymouth green energy project has received a $25.4 million investment from the UK Government. The report noted that renewable energy giant Carlton Power has received the funds for the Langage Green Hydrogen Hub. Carlton Power, which already owns Langage Energy Park, has received the funding from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) as part of Round One of the Government’s Hydrogen Allocation Round (HAR1). It will enable Carlton Power to move forward with the construction of the hub, expected to be operational by 2025. Once operational the Langage Green Hydrogen Hub will provide a clean and sustainable source of energy for the Plymouth and South Devon area.
