In Denmark, Bunker Line reported that Color Line’s two passenger ferries connecting Denmark and Norway have been running on B100 biofuel for one month, with Bunker One leading supply and logistics. With this switch to biofuel, Color Line’s two passenger ferries have reduced CO2 emissions by approximately 85% on average on the biofuel quantities used, the firm said.
The FAME-grade/RED II-compliant B100 biofuel is produced locally in Denmark from organic waste. Color Line AS annually carries almost 4 million people, 900,000 passenger cars and 180,000 freight units to and from Norway.
