In Brazil, Usina Coruripe concluded the external audit process for ISCC Corsia Plus international certification, at the Iturama and Limeira do Oeste units, in Minas Gerais. The certification places the company in a select group of companies qualified to produce and sell aviation ethanol. ISCC is the main international certification system for biomass and bioenergy, focusing on sustainability of land and water use, production traceability and verification of greenhouse gases, the firm said. The recognition serves to prove that the ethanol produced at the Iturama and Limeira do Oeste units, in the Triângulo Mineiro, meets international requirements for the production of sustainable aviation fuel.
