In Washington, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced the opportunity to apply for approximately $269 million in FY 2023 Supplemental Discretionary Grants. This is a competitive grant program under the project grant authority for Airport Improvement Program (AIP). The AIP objective is to assist airport owners and operators (sponsors) that are eligible to accept grants in the development and improvement of a nationwide airport system. FAA will implement the FY 2023 Supplemental Discretionary grants consistent with AIP sponsor and project eligibility.
Airport sponsors must submit an application that meets the requirements of this NOFO no later than 5:00 p.m. Eastern time, May 2, 2024.
