In Illinois, Brownfield Ag News reports that some ethanol plants are coming out of planned maintenance early to take advantage of the summer driving season that kicks off next week. As a result, ethanol production rose slightly to break above 1 million barrels per day, Stocks almost rose back to the level seen just a month ago. Ethanol producers are almost to the point of paying off, with crushing margins inching closer to positive territory.
