The Digest’s 2024 Multi-Slide Guide to the Renewable Materials & Biobased Chemicals National Incentive Effort

Founded in 1957, the National Corn Growers Association represents more than 40,000 dues-paying corn farmers nationwide and the interests of more than 300,000 growers. A goal of the NCGA’s is to establish a Production Tax Credit (PTC): $.10 per pound for the production of qualifying renewable materials and an investment tax credit (ITC): 30% ITC for qualified property used in the production of qualifying renewable materials installed at a qualifying facility. NCGA’s Sarah McKay led a panel on the progress with this drive at ABLC 2024.
