KRAHN Chemie Benelux, Mitsubishi Chemical sign biobased polyols distribution agreement

In Europe, specialty chemicals distributor KRAHN Chemie Benelux will distribute a number of products from Mitsubishi Chemical Europe, including products BENEBiOL™,  a biomass-based polycarbonatediol with “outstanding stain and chemical resistance and superior soft touch and feel.”

The distribution agreement includes also BioPTMG, a polyol that is manufactured from bio feedstocks. BioPTMG and BENEBiOL™ are used for various high-end polyurethane applications such as adhesives, coatings, TPUs, sealants, elastomers and fibers. Typical application areas are artificial leather, consumer goods/electronics, automotive, apparel, high end fashion, functional textiles and industrial.
