Capital-Executive Ship Management Corp. Takes Delivery of Four New Eco-Friendly Vessels

In Greece, Capital-Executive Ship Management Corp. took delivery of four new 2,862 TEU container vessels equipped with Alternative Marine Power, also know as ‘shore power’, SOx exhaust gas cleaning systems, and are configured for future liquified natural gas adaptation. 

Built by HD Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co. Ltd. in South Korea, the vessels incorporate optimized hull designs and smart ship technologies, reducing energy consumption and emissions significantly. The advanced navigation system and augmented reality CCTV enhance safety for crew and cargo.

Capital-Executive Ship Management Corp., headquartered in Piraeus, Greece, operates a fleet of 36 vessels, including container carriers and bulk carriers, with a total capacity of 2.52 million tons and 111,320 TEU. Capital-Executive is actively involved in various projects aimed at minimizing environmental impact. They are part of the European ShipFC consortium, working on the world’s first ammonia-powered fuel cell for maritime use.
