Ethanol production hits new record at 1.109 million bpd

In Washington Brownfield Ag News reports ethanol production hit a record high last week at 1.109 million barrels per day, up 44,000 bpd on the year, and 14,000 compared to the week prior. The previous record was slightly lower at 1.108 million in December 2017. Stocks are at a 10 week high of 23.973 million barrels, up 1.113 million barrels compared to this time last year. Ethanol exports continue at pace at 58,000 barrels a day, but still down 83,000 on the year.
