In Spain, Europa Press reported that he Civil Guard’s Air Service has carried out its first flight using sustainable fuel thanks to the first batch of renewable fuel produced by Repsol. The first flight of an aircraft using 30% SAF as its total fuel has taken off from the Civil Guard Air Service facilities in Torrejón de Ardoz, in Madrid, according to the report. The SAF has been manufactured by Repsol from biomass and meets the quality requirements established by international specifications. In addition, it has passed the tests carried out in recent months by Repsol and the Civil Guard Air Service, the report added.
