The new Bioeconomy Risk Indexes are out from the Daily Digest, they are free and here. https://bit.ly/4dqr58U. This week we are reporting notable shifts in risk relating to hydrogen, SAF, ammonia, RNG, FOG, food waste and MSW.
The risk picture.
President Lula in Brazil sanctioned legal frameworks and the Special Incentive Regime for Low Carbon Hydrogen with up to $40 billion in investments, increasing concern of an over-supplied green hydrogen market in the future.
In Europe the RNG market shows reduced risk this week with announcements that suggest guaranteed future demand: Gas Networks Ireland planning to replace 10% of natural gas with biomethane, and Maersk contracting between 50 and 60 dual-fuel vessels capable of running on methanol or liquified bio-methane.
In China, the interest rate fell 4.54% after climbing for two weeks, improving the risk outlook for renewable fuels and related feedstocks.
The Bioeconomy Risk Indexes (BRISKIs) track risk for 30 bioeconomy fuels and chemical molecules, and 60 feedstocks, a new way to lmeasure and manage risk. They are free, and here. https://bit.ly/4dqr58U
