Ethanol production slips below 1M barrels per day

In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol production fell below 1 million barrels per day last week to the lowest levels since May at 994,000 bpd despite crush margins remaining strong. Although stock levels fell by 261,000 barrels down to 23.5 million barrels, they were still nearly 1.5 million barrels higher than this time last year. Ethanol exports remain strong, still higher than this time last year but down 64,000 bpd on the week.
