In Italy, Reuters reports that following a first deal to sell up to a quarter of its EniLive biofuels business to KKR, inquiries have been made by another potential suitor about buying up another piece of the company, which observers say is an indication of the market’s faith in Eni’s strategy to spin out its renewables businesses. With KKR’s expected purchase that should wind up in the next few weeks, EniLive is expected to reach a valuation of up to $13 billion.
