In India, SolarQuarter reported that Tunisia has unveiled an ambitious national strategy aimed at transforming the country into a global leader in green hydrogen production. According to the report, Tunisia plans to significantly increase its renewable energy capacity, primarily through solar and wind power, to fuel the production of green hydrogen. Existing natural gas pipelines will be repurposed to transport green hydrogen, connecting the country to European markets, the report added. The initial focus will be on producing green ammonia for fertilizers, catering to domestic demand and creating new export opportunities.
