The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dropped 1.61 percent to 61.51 as two capital raise announcements dragged on prices. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) plunged another 27.21 percent to $4.95 on plans to raise $100 million, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) sank 33.96 percent on plans to raise capital through a secondary offer. Among other equities, Ceres (CERE) slumped 10.13 percent to $8.52. Overall, advances led declines 7 to 6 for the day.
