The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dumped 2.27 percent to 71.11 as renewable chemicals and advanced biofuels both tumbled. For the day, BioAmber (BIOA) lost 5.56 percent to $8.50, while KiOR (KIOR) fell 6.26 percent to $4.04. Among other equities, Green Plains Renewable Energy dropped 6.38 percent to $14.68. Overall, declines led advances 13 to 1 for the day.
