In Illinois, the Chicago Argo ethanol prices saw the sharpest intra-day gain in more than a month on Wednesday to $2.1715/gal, up more than 10 cents per gallon. The move followed the Energy Information Agency releasing data that showed both ethanol stocks and production fell for the first time in eight weeks.
