The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, recovered 0.69 percent to 71.46 as advanced biofuels and ethanol rebounded. For the day, Ceres (CERE) jumped 6.59 percent to $0.38, while Green Plains (GPRE) gained 3.07 percent to $34.27. Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) regained 4.99 percent to $13.25. Overall, declines led advances 13 to 4 for the day.
