Newport Biodiesel supplying to the first mega Tall Ship built in US in 100 years

In Rhode Island, Newport Biodiesel is supplying biodiesel to the first 200-foot-long full-rigged Tall Ship to be built in the United States in more than 100 years. The $16 million economic development project that brought the Oliver Hazard Perry to life will see the vessel used for Education at Sea programs. The three-rigged vessel boasts 14,000 square feet of sails and seven miles of rope and wire.
