For the day, DuPont (DD) jumped 7.66 percent after a CEO shift, while BioAmber (BIOA) rocked up 11.30 percent to $7.29 on scale-up success news. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) rallied 7.25 percent to $2.96. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 1 for the day.
