In California, i3 Connect, a Cleantech Group division said that $2.3 Billion in Cleantech VC investment across 165 deals took place in Q3 2015. Cleantech VC-backed companies are maturing with the average investment size triple what it was 2 years ago in 3Q 2013, the group said, noting that “Corporate participation in cleantech VC deals has never been higher with over 33% of deals including an industrial partner.” i3 connect published a slide deck on quarterly results which can be accessed here.
