2B Green waits for Canada green light for "go" on biodiesel plant

In Canada, 2B Green BioEnergy Corp is waiting for word on a grant from the ecoENERGY for Biofuels Program, a $1.46-billion Natural Resources Canada fund before moving forward with its $61.4 million 150 million liter biodiesel plant in Dalhousie. The proposed facility will use fish waste, vegetable oils and animal fats as feedstocks. Located near to a major port in New Brunswick, the biodiesel would be targeted for the European market though as much as 50% might go to buyers in Houston.
