For the day, The Andersons (ANDE) dropped 5.31 percent to $27.45, while Amyris (AMRS) dumped 9.15 percent to $1.29. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) shed 6.28 percent to $1.79. Overall, declines led advances by a 3 to 1 ratio for the day.
