The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, dumped 2.55 percent to 47.74 as advanced bio equities tumbled on waning oil prices. For the day, Solazyme (SZYM) plunged 9.percent to $1.77, while Green Plains (GPRE) dropped 6.40 percent to $16.67. Among other equities, Abengoa (ABGB) soared 19.54 percent to $1.04. Overall, declines led advances by a 6 to 1 ratio for the day.
