The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, gained 1.94 percent to 48.88 as ethanol’s outlook improved on recovering oil prices. For the day, Aemetis (AMTX) jumped 12.00 percent to $2.24, while Renewable Energy Group (REGI) surged 4.71 percent to 6.85. Among other equities, BioAmber (BIOA) dropped 4.09 percent to $3.99. Overall, advances led declines by a 2 to 1 ratio for the day.
