Digest Bioeconomy Index loses 0.59 percent to 50.73 as large caps drop

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, lost 0.59 percent to 50.73 as large caps dropped.

For the day, Abengoa (ABGB) declined 7.79 percent to $1.42, while TerraVia (SZYM) dropped 4.33 percent to $1.99.  Among other equities, Codexis (CDXS) gained 3.09 percent to $3.34.

Overall, declines led advances by a 2 to 1 ratio for the day.
