In Argentina, maritime services company Agunsa reports it is offering UCOME biofuel blends in Argentina. Agunsa’s subsidiary Total Bunkering, in partnership with a leading biodiesel producer in Argentina, can blend biodiesel into very low sulfur fuel oil or low sulfur gas marine oil using trucks to adjust the blend as required.
The company stated, “Our entire supply chain is certified by ISCC, ensuring high quality in our products.” Terminals served are at the Ports of San Nicolás, Campana, and Rosario – all on the Paraná river in Buenos Aires Provence, Argentina. Blended biofuel by truck is carried out in SIMOPS cargo transfer, optimizing operation time. In other news, Agunsa plans to expand operations in Latin America and the United States, reaching eight ports in the next five years.
