AIR COMPANY raises $69 million B-Series to scale SAF tech

In New York, AIR COMPANY has raised $69 million in a Series B funding round to accelerate the development and commercialization of its sustainable aviation fuel, produced from captured carbon dioxide. Taking a board seat and leading the financing, Avfuel, a global supplier of aviation fuel, will provide fuel distribution, logistics, and environmental attribute administration. Other participants in the funding include Duncan Aviation, Alaska Airlines, and JetBlue Ventures.

The new capital will enhance AIR COMPANY’s engineering capabilities, advancing the production of its carbon-derived aviation fuel to meet rising demand in both commercial and governmental sectors.“Our technology is designed to be modular to facilitate adoption and scalability,” said Gregory Constantine, Co-Founder and CEO of AIR COMPANY.
