In France, Air Liquide and Groupe ADP announced the creation of Hydrogen Airport, an engineering and consulting joint venture specializing in helping airports integrate hydrogen projects within their infrastructures.
This joint venture was created following a study carried out jointly with Airbus in 2021 focusing on feasibility studies to facilitate the introduction of hydrogen planes in approximately 30 airports around the world.
The joint venture will provide a range of services including the estimation of the volumes required over time, the optimization of logistics based on the specific requirements of the airport and its location, preliminary safety and carbon impact studies, as well as cost analysis and investment roadmap development.
