In Canada, Altranex is set to start using its recently patented technology to develop high value renewable lubricants and drop-in bunker fuels. The process produces 90% lubricant and 10% renewable diesel where the lube can fetch upwards of $2200 per metric ton. Breaking ground on a facility that produces 90 tons of lube per day is still a few years away.
