In Argentina, Reuters reports the country has lowered the price for biodiesel slightly from May onwards to about $1.062 per metric ton while it raised prices for sugarcane-based ethanol nearly 10% to about 70 cents per liter. Although the increase was lower, the price for corn-based ethanol was increased to about 65 cents per liter. The government regularly changes biofuel prices depending on feedstock prices, so the new prices will stay in place until it decides to change them again.
