In Argentina, Q1 biodiesel exports plunged to under 93,000 metric tons, the lowest quarterly figure reported by CARBIO producers since the mid-2000s. Biodiesel exports during Q1 2014 were 211,986 tons. Despite anti-dumping duties on Argentine imports in the European Union, higher oil prices saw fuel retailers blending biodiesel regularly in 2014 but lower prices in 2015 has moved away from the practice.
