In Malaysia, Deputy Chairman Derom Bangun stated that 2012 palm oil prices may average RM3,100/ton, with production rising from 24.1 million tons to 25.9 million tons.  Bangun further stated that 700,000 tons will go to biodiesel producers, supporting palm oil prices due to reductions in exports.
