In Thailand, the Bangkok Post newspaper reports Bangchak is looking to procure B100 in an effort to help support palm oil prices, at the request of the Department of Internal Trade. The ministry will set the price that BBGI will pay for the crude palm oil, prices which will be aligned with palm oil prices, and then Bangchak will buy the B100 from BBGI. Currently, Bangchak sources 1 million liters of B100 daily from BBGI.
